After years helping clients bring their ideas to life, we’re proud to announce a milestone for 10 Grounds — **our first in-house product, CoChefy, is officially live**.

CoChefy is a smart cooking app designed to make daily meals easier, reduce food waste, and inspire creativity in the kitchen. Built for modern lifestyles — from students to busy parents — CoChefy combines practicality with the power of AI to help users cook smarter, not harder.

## **From Idea to MVP**

The vision behind CoChefy started with a simple question: _What if we could help people make the most of what’s already in their kitchen?_

Using our [standard product discovery process](/content/blog/from-idea-to-mvp-how-we-designed-cochefy-using-a-design-sprint-and-figma-prototyping/index.html) — including Design Sprints and Figma prototyping — we worked with founder [**Asheesh Barman**](https://www.linkedin.com/in/asheeshbarman/) to validate the concept before writing a single line of code. Once the prototype was tested and refined through focus groups, our development team built the MVP using:

- [**React Native**](https://reactnative.dev/) for the mobile app
- [**Ruby on Rails**](https://rubyonrails.org/) **+** [**PostgreSQL**](https://www.postgresql.org/) for the backend API
- [**React.js**](https://react.dev/) **+** [**Next.js**](https://nextjs.org/) for the admin tools

## **What’s Inside the First Release**

The CoChefy MVP includes three core experiences:

- 🥕 **My Pantry** – Manage your ingredients and generate AI-powered recipes based on what you already have.
- 🔍 **Recipe Search** – Discover cooking ideas and save your favorites to your personal cookbook.
- 🎮 **Daily Word Game** – A fun, cooking-themed puzzle that keeps users engaged and learning something new every day.

## **Early Results and What’s Next**

Early adopters are already discovering how intuitive and fun CoChefy feels — especially the daily game, which has quickly become a user favorite. In the coming months, we plan to expand recipe personalization, improve pantry automation, and introduce new AI-driven features that make cooking even easier.
